Dr. Arslanian performs touch-up and smaller area liposuction in-office to help patients improve their bodies conveniently and on their schedules.

What is Lunchtime Lipo?

Lunchtime Lipo is a minimally-invasive liposuction procedure performed in-office to make smaller-scale improvements to the contours of the body. Fat does not always respond to diet and exercise the way we want it to: Lunchtime Lipo will eliminate stubborn fat from your body in a shorter, more comfortable procedure than standard liposuction surgery. Liposuction is an FDA-approved fat elimination surgery that extracts stubborn subcutaneous fat from the body safely and gently.

If you have uneven contours or a spot on your body that clings to a pocket of soft, jiggly fat, you are an excellent candidate to transform your physique with convenient, targeted Lunchtime Lipo.

Lunchtime Liposuction is performed using a slim cannula, tumescent fluid, and a few small, well-concealed incisions. The procedure will address fat located on the arms and neck area of the body.

Lunchtime Lipo is performed in-office with local anesthesia. This produces a shorter, more comfortable recovery. Patients can get back to their busy schedules more easily following Lunchtime Lipo!

Liposuction Techniques

Lunchtime Lipo Techniques

Dr. Arslanian prefers the safety and results of SAFE liposuction for his patients. SAFE is an acronym for Separation Aspiration Fat Equalization. SAFE liposuction employs different types of cannulas to first separate the fat layer and then aspirate the fat. Another cannula will then be used to smooth the fat and deliver tight, ideal contours.

Dr. Arslanian may also recommend advanced liposuction alternatives if these will more effectively achieve your body goals. These surgical options include ultrasound-assisted liposuction and power-assisted liposuction. Overall, Dr. Arslanian recommends SAFE liposuction with tumescent fluid for Lunchtime Lipo patients. Tiny incisions and local anesthesia deliver a comfortable treatment and short, practical recovery.

Liposuction Techniques include:

Tumescent Liposuction

Tumescent liposuction is the most commonly performed liposuction method. Tumescent fluid is a solution of saline, epinephrine, and lidocaine. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that keeps patients 100% pain-free during Lunchtime Lipo. Epinephrine constricts blood vessels, reducing bruising and post-procedure swelling. Tumescent fluid has the added benefit of causing the fat cells to swell. The enlarged fat is easier to spot, break down, and gently extract from the area. The fluid also creates a barrier between the skin and the fat, making the procedure more safe

SAFE Liposuction

SAFE Liposuction, or the Separation Aspiration Fat Equalization method, is Dr. Arslanian’s preferred liposuction method. SAFE liposuction is, as the name implies, a very safe technique that produces a smooth, beautiful result. At first, Dr. Arslanian will use a “Basket” cannula to separate the fat and skin layers. He will insert a slim liposuction cannula into this space and aspirate the fat. A second “Basket” cannula will equalize the fat. No suction will be used. This final step will address dimpling and deliver the smoothest results possible. Dr. Arslanian’s SAFE liposuction patients enjoy excellent outcomes and high satisfaction with their results.

Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction

Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction breaks fat down with an ultrasound-emitting cannula. Once the tumescent fluid has taken effect, Dr. Arslanian will apply the ultrasound energy to emulsify stubborn fat. This is often a recommended method for areas where previous liposuction was performed or scar tissue has formed. The upper back and male breast, two commonly difficult-to-sculpt areas, are also effectively addressed with ultrasound liposuction.

Power-Assisted Liposuction

Power-Assisted  Liposuction is performed with tumescent fluid and a mechanically-powered cannula. The cannula will vibrate, which helps to break down stubborn fat for easy removal.

Dr. Arslanian has high standards for his patients: your safety is his priority! Considering this,  Dr. Arslanian does not offer laser-assisted lipo, or SmartLipo. Research shows too many cases of complications with SmartLipo for Dr. Arslanian to recommend the procedure.

Dr. Arslanian’s Liposuction work is so artful, it can be considered “liposelection.” He takes time to craft safe, appropriate surgical plans for each of his patients. Additional In-Office Lunchtime Procedures

Unhappy with your body contours? Could your buttocks use a little lift? If you have an area of your body that you would like to volumize or contour, you are an excellent candidate for the in-office fat transfer. The fat transfer is a two-step procedure that collects fat from one area of the body and artfully transfers it to another area of the body. Dr. Arslanian first performs liposuction to gather fat and improve the contours in the donation site. Once the fat is processed through a centrifuge, Dr. Arslanian will inject it to shape and volumize the desired area of the body.

Preparation

You will receive personalized instructions to help you prepare for your Lunchtime Lipo. If you currently smoke, you will need to quit smoking at least two weeks before and for the two weeks following Lunchtime Lipo.

Procedure

Lunchtime Lipo is a quick, convenient way to modify your body contours, more comfortably and safely than ever before. Lunchtime Lipo is a targeted surgery and thus has a shorter procedure time than traditional liposuction.

Lunchtime Lipo is performed in-office with local anesthesia. The use of local anesthesia keeps patients 100% pain-free during Lunchtime Lipo and improves the post-procedure experience.

General anesthesia can leave patients out-of-it or nauseous, long after surgery. Local anesthesia majorly reduces these after-effects, helping patients get back to normal more quickly.

Lunchtime Lipo is performed using tiny, well-placed incisions, slim cannulas, and tumescent fluid. Your surgery will be custom-tailored to the needs of your case. Dr. Arslanian recommends SAFE liposuction to help his patients safely and effectively contour their bodies. If appropriate for your case, ultrasound energy or a vibrating cannula may also be used to assist with fat breakdown. Once the desired, slim contour has been achieved, the incisions will be closed with fine sutures. A compression garment may also be worn to preserve the results in a tight silhouette.

Recovery & Results

Stomach and thighs liposuction

The treated area may be swollen or bruised following Lunchtime Lipo.  These conditions are common and will majorly improve over the days following your procedure. A compression garment will be worn for 4 to 6 weeks to reduce swelling and maintain results.

Thanks to Dr. Arslanian’s gentle, minimally-invasive techniques, most patients are able to return to work within one to two days of Lunchtime Lipo! Patients with more physically-demanding jobs are usually back at work within a week. Recovery timelines will vary based on individual healing profiles. Patients will then return to Arslanian Plastic Surgery over the weeks following their Lunchtime Lipo for follow-up appointments. Patients are often back to normal activities within four to six weeks.

Results of Lunchtime Lipo will improve with each passing week. Swelling will diminish over time to reveal your smooth, slim new contours. Results will be visible within three months. Results may continue to improve for six to twelve months

The results of Lunchtime Lipo are long-lasting! The procedure removes targeted fat cells completely from the body.

Patients who maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle will not see new fat develop in their treated area. Look your best, with the help of the best. Schedule a Lunchtime Lipo consultation with Dr. Arslanian to learn if this convenient procedure is right for you.
