Restylane Atlanta, GA

Restylane is a soft tissue dermal filler used to tackle issues of facial aging.

As we get older, time and the sun leave a lasting impact on our bodies. They can create undesirable marks and spots on our faces. Laugh lines and marionette lines are common side effects of aging. Fortunately, there’s something we can do about it: Restylane. Getting Restylane is a popular way to reverse these effects by filling in fine lines and wrinkles in the face,  smoothing them out, and restoring volume to the face. This injectable gel uses hyaluronic acid as its main component to plump and rejuvenate the skin. It comes in five different formulations to augment specific areas of the face and body. If you’re unhappy with deep lines then Restylane injections are just the thing for you.

Dr. Brian Arslanian is committed to providing patients with nothing short of excellence. His specialty is maximizing your potential by reversing the effects of aging. The results are simply amazing.

About Restylane

Restylane and others like it are loved by many people around the world because of its power to eliminate unwanted wrinkles.

It offers a natural, youthful appearance thanks in part to its main ingredient: hyaluronic acid (HA).[1] These fillers are a great solution for non-surgical facial revitalizations. They offer a natural and subtle way to improve the appearance of the skin without compromising facial movements and produce no obvious evidence of filler. [2]

This skincare chemical occurs naturally in our bodies.[3] It has an exceptional ability to absorb and retain water. They are known to carry therapeutic effects across many areas of the body, including the skin.[4] Sadly, we lose that valuable resource as we age. This in turn affects how we look when we smile or express ourselves with emotions. Hyaluronic acid fillers are known to be the “gold standard” in dermal fillers because they produce natural-looking results.[5] A hyaluronic acid injection has the power to fill in the underlying skin with a chemical compound that absorbs water. By putting back hyaluronic acid into our skin, we re-energize the skin with volume and smooth over undesirable lines and creases.

Benefits

There are many added plusses when getting Restylane. Alongside the added benefit of more volume and longer-lasting results, the substance starts to facilitate collagen production so that your skin will repair on its own and reverse the aging process. Restylane is used to improve the appearance of:

  • Nasolabial fold (creases stretching from sides of the nose or corners of the mouth)
  • Vertical lines stretching outwards from the lips
  • Thin lips
  • Hollow cheeks
  • Aging hands

The injections are administered through a tiny needle to ensure minimal discomfort. However, patients have the option to have an anesthetic block or topical anesthetic applied just before treatment. But, the process is quick and relatively pain-free. Many patients choose to come to the office on their lunch break because it’s that fast; there’s no downtime or recovery needed.

Which Restylane is Right For You?

Restylane comes in an assortment of specially formulated options. Each of them promises to target a specific area of your body. Depending on the kind of wrinkles or the areas that need some extra volume, there’s a gel that provides the perfect amount of firmness and thickness you’re looking for. The area being treated is also considered when selecting the right formula for you.

Restylane

Contains medium size particles that address moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. It also comes with another version containing lidocaine that gives a pleasant experience.

Restylane Silk

This has finer particles used to treat fine lines and wrinkles. It can be also used to adjust the lips and smooth fine vertical lip lines.

Restylane Refyne

Corrects moderate to severe facial lines and folds, such as nasolabial folds. The gel is soft to the touch yet strong enough to project natural facial expressions while combating lines and wrinkles at the same time.

Restylane Defyne

Restylane Defyne is another ultra-flexible gel injectable but is firmer than Refyne used to treat deep lines and wrinkles in the face. Defyne has another added benefit: it could be injected into the chin to create an improved jawline to balance the proportions of the face. [6]

Restylane Lyft

This choice is often reserved for cases requiring extensive improvements to treat severe facial wrinkles and folds. It can also be used for treatments to correct contouring issues for the cheeks.

Restylane Kysse

This is an advanced new facial filler made with “Expression Technology” to smooth wrinkles and lines while allowing the face to move more naturally. The clear gel has lidocaine to minimize any discomfort.

Candidates in Atlanta

All Restylane products are approved by the Federal Drugs Administration (FDA) and are an extremely safe and effective way to treat unwanted lines.[7] Men and women concerned with the appearance of facial lines, wrinkles, or volume loss in their cheeks have several great options when considering Restylane. Not all droopy or sagging skin can be solved through dermal fillers, however. Those requiring more considerable work may be better suited for a surgical procedure like a facelift.

Although these facial treatments have been thoroughly researched and tested, patients who should not seek this option if they are:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Attempting to become pregnant
  • Under 18 years or over 65 years
  • Highly allergic
  • Prone to bleeding disorders

FAQ

What are some side effects Restylane injections have?

Dermal filler injections are administered with thin needles. As with any injections, there may be a small chance you may experience slight bleeding, stinging, or bruising during and immediately after your injections. Some swelling at the injection sites may also happen. Just keep your head elevated, avoid blood-thinning medications, and use a cold compress to help with the symptoms.

What’s the difference between Juvederm and Restylane?

Think about it this way. There will always be two dominant products in each category. Both have the same benefits and contain hyaluronic acid as their main ingredient. They may be manufactured by two different companies but both offer voluptuous and rejuvenating results.

Why are there so many different types of Restylane?

The Restylane line of products was developed with you in mind. They know that each patient has different needs. All these special formations target different areas of the body to allow for a more strategic plan.
